Tuition fees

The price per credit is €209, and the minimum requirement to obtain a master's degree is 60 ECTS credits. The tuition fee for 60 ECTS credits is therefore €12,540. The price of the complete tuition fee depends on the number of credits enrolled by the student, as students will have to pay for all extra credits exceeding the required 60 ECTS.

Once you have been offered a place in the master's programme of your choice, you will be asked to confirm your attendance by paying a non-refundable deposit of €1,000, which will later be deducted from your tuition fees.

Payment

Full-time master's programmes

  • Full payment

The full payment of your tuition fees can be made immediately but the latest date for the payment is 20 September 2025.

  • Payment by instalments

Students can exceptionally pay the tuition fees in two instalments:

Two instalments:

20/09/2025: €5,000
31/01/2026: remaining balance according to the number of ECTS enrolled

Part-time master's programme

  • Full payment

Tuition fees are due by 20 September 2025 (first year) and 20 September 2026 (second year).

  • Payment by instalments

Students can exceptionally pay the tuition fees of the part-time Master’s in International Relations in four instalments:

Year 1:

20/09/2025: €3,000
31/01/2026: remaining amount according to ECTS credits enrolled in year 1

Year 2:

20/09/2026: €3,000
31/01/2027: remaining amount according to ECTS credits enrolled in year 2

Visiting Students

IBEI will also admit a small number of visiting students who will take selected courses of the master's programme of their choice. Please contact the IBEI Admissions Office (admissions@ibei.org) if you wish to study at IBEI as a visiting student

The price per credit is €209. The tuition fees for visiting students are stated below:

  • €1,254 for a 6 ECTS credit course
  • €836 for a 4 ECTS credit course
  • €627 for a 3 ECTS credit course
