Biography

Aitor Bonsoms is Predoctoral Fellow FPU at IBEI under the supervision of Dr. Elisabeth Johansson-Nogués. He is a PhD candidate in the program Politics, Policies and International Relations at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He has been a researcher for project VISIONS and a graduate teaching assistant at UAB. His research fields of interest are security studies, terrorism and counterterrorism studies, European Studies, International Relations, and qualitative methods (mainly, discourse analysis, semi-structured interviews, ethnography, and qualitative text analysis). He holds a Bachelor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (UPF, UAM, and UC3M) and an MA in Ideology and Discourse Analysis (University of Essex).
