Professional Internship Programme
Some internships may be eligible for the Erasmus+ traineeship grant. If you have secured an internship, you may contact the internship officers at internship@ibei.org to assess your eligibility.
Erasmus+ grants are awarded on a rolling basis, and are subject to the availability of funding.
You must apply for the Erasmus+ grant for traineeships before you start your internship abroad. Please take a look at the call to see the rules and regulations.
Application Process

Complete the Application form. Once you have secured your internship and have confirmed that you are eligible to apply for this grant, you must formally apply for it. Please contact international@ibei.org to request the application form (cc’ing internship@ibei.org)

Once your application for the Erasmus+ Grant for traineeships has been approved, you will be sent the relevant documents which you will need to fill out before the start of your internship. (See section “documents to be completed”).

You will receive the first 70% of your Erasmus+ grant after confirming your arrival at the host institution and sending the relevant documents.

The remaining 30% of your Erasmus+ grant will be re-calculated according to the actual dates of stay abroad, and will be awarded once the remaining documents have been submitted.

You must submit documents 1-6 in order to receive the first 70% of your grant. The remaining 30% of your grant will be awarded after completing steps 7 & 8.
