Summary
After a relatively slow start in the 1950s and 60s, the European Union has progressively become one of the main sources of public policies, both international and regional. This course on European Public Policies focuses on the main policies of the EU. The first part
presents the link between policy-making and public policies through the main EU policy actors. Then we will analyse the "core" policies of the Union, such as the single market, the monetary union, environmental policy, the common agricultural policy, cohesion policy, social policy and industrial policy.
