IBEI is happy to welcome back Martijn Vlaskamp, who spent the past 2.5 years at the MacMillan Center at Yale as part of his Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship. During his stay at Yale, he was a fellow at the Program on Order, Conflict, and Violence. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowships are funded by the Horizon2020 program of the European Commission.

At IBEI, Martijn will continue with his project GLONEXACO (The Global-Local Nexus of Armed Conflicts: The interlinkages between natural resource-fueled armed conflicts and the EU’s raw materials supply). In the second semester of 2017/18, Martijn will teach the course Natural Resources and Armed Conflicts.
