IBEI Scholarships

IBEI, in collaboration with other institutions, offers the possibility to apply for scholarships that partially or completely cover the enrolment amount of the master's programmes. The application form for the master’s programmes includes the option to apply for any of the following grants, except the Fundación Carolina and the Mundus MAPP scholarships.

IBEI offers a limited number of merit-based partial tuition fee waivers for students admitted to any of the master’s programmes. The application form for the master's programmes includes the option to apply for this grant.

The Banc Sabadell Foundation and IBEI offer two partial tuition fee waivers for the IBEI master’s programmes. The application form for the master's programmes includes the option to apply for this grant.

The Fundación Carolina, an institution that promotes cultural relations and cooperation between Spain and the Iberoamerican Community of Nations in the fields of education and science, awards together with IBEI tuition fee waivers for the Master's in International Relations and the Master's in International Security. These grants are targeted at students from one of the Iberoamerican Community of Nations member states. Candidates have to apply through the Fundación Carolina’s website.

The Erasmus Mundus Master in International Law of Global Security, Peace and Development (ILGSPD) is a 2-year-long international Masters course co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Six leading European universities joined forces to deliver the programme: University of Glasgow (UK), Radboud University (Netherlands), Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), Leuphana Universität Lüneburg (Germany), University of Tartu (Estonia) and Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (Spain).

The Erasmus Mundus Master’s Program in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP) is a 2-year-long international Masters course co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Four leading European universities joined forces to deliver Mundus MAPP: Central European University in Vienna (Austria), the Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University in The Hague (Netherlands), the University of York (UK) and the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (Spain).
