Biography
Iker Uriarte is a PhD candidate in the programme of Political and Social Sciences at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a predoctoral research fellow in the framework of the REPGOV project. He was born in Mexico but raised in the Basque Country, Spain. He holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Salamanca and a Master's degree in Political and Electoral Analysis from the University Carlos III - Juan March Institute. His research focuses on power dynamics in the incorporation of deliberation into the policy process. His areas of interest are urban politics, political institutions, deliberation and policy agenda.
