Doctor Laia Pellejà, new director of the Institució dels Centres de Recerca de Catalunya (CERCA), visits the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) to meet with its president, Jacint Jordana, its director, Laura Chaqués Bonafont, and their team.

During this visit, we were able to explain to the director of CERCA the objectives, structure and the functioning of the IBEI. It was a very productive meeting, in which we exchanged ideas about IBEI's capacity to produce and disseminate high-quality and impactful research, as well as its excellent postgraduate training for professionals and specialists in the field of international relations, security, development and public policies.

CERCA is a network of which the IBEI has been part since 2024, which seeks to promote cooperation and scientific exchange with research centers of excellence.
