Biography

Marika Csapo is a postdoctoral research fellow with the REPGOV project. She holds a PhD in Political Science and an MS in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on issues in distributive politics and policy influence in unequal democracies, with a particular focus on the politics of health and health policy. She has previously held research positions at Vanderbilt University's Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions and at USC´s Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics. She has also taught comparative politics, methods, and policy courses at UCLA and at Loyola Marymount University.
