Chapter leads are active ambassadors of the IBEI alumni in their region. As heads of the chapters,  their main aim is to strengthen and maintain the connection between IBEI and its alumni. They are key in building the international presence of the school and establishing long-standing relationships across global geographies.Moreover, they serve as potential touchpoints for future students. They might organise events, activities and count with the support of the institutionally based IBEI alumni programme.

Chapters lead aid alumni who need help adapting to a new environment. Within a chapter, members can share their past experiences assisting alumni to overcome situations they may have already endured. Thus, university chapters become a group with a sense of belonging.

• IBEI alumni that have the time to organise two events per year or more

• Chapter leads should have the aptness to commit to the chapter for at least one year

• A group of two/three alumni per chapter is desirable

• Create an international network of alumni that serves as a bridge between the school and its alumni

• Build a strong international representation for the school and its alumni at the global level

• Create a sense of belonging within the chapter

• Sustain the discussion of international issues among alumni, fostering discussions on worldwide topics, welcoming and accepting all opinions

• Build a dynamic alumni community, establishing lasting relationships

• To be a reference person in the IBEI alumni community

• Building a platform to foster interaction and connection to alumni associates. 

• Organising professional development-focused events that may consist of workshops on professional skills improvements, job fairs, professional networking or support groups for alumni. 

• Arranging diverse activities, including hybrid and in-person events connecting international alumni fostering networking and bringing knowledgeable professionals from the region to share their experience and thoughts.

• Mentoring and advising new or prospective students, providing them with guidance on the possible challenges they might face. 

• Represent IBEI in community stakeholder activities.

• Expand your network by connecting with local and international alumni

• Expand and develop your leadership, team-building and communication skills through the preparation of discussions and events.

• Represent the voice of alumni while providing support for the IBEI community worldwide.
