Master's in International Development

Target Group

The programme is suitable for graduates with a social science background and you should, therefore, have an undergraduate degree in political sciences, international relations, economics or another relevant subject.

The advanced Master's in International Development will prepare you for a high-profile career in areas such as government, non-governmental international organisations, or the private sector, as well as for an academic career.

The Master’s programme includes the option of an internship in both public and private organisations. IBEI graduates are now working in state and international institutions, multinational companies, NGOs and third-sector organisations.

The Master’s in International Development offers a total of 35 places.

The majority of our recent graduates are employed in international institutions (such as the United Nations), public administrations (including national ministries and bilateral development agencies), local and international NGOs, private sector business and development consultancies, as well as academic institutions.
