Three IBEI students awarded the Scholarship Masters of Excellence of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera
Guillermo Gallent Lloria and Isaac Jiménez Garcia, both students of the Master’s in International Relations, and Daniella Lilliu Atance, student of the Master’s in International Security, have been awarded the Scholarship Masters of Excellence of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera.
Guillermo Gallent Lloria has a degree in East Asian Studies by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He studied and worked in Japan and South Korea.
Isaac Jiménez Garcia completed his undergraduate degree in Sociology at the Universitat de Barcelona. He has lived and worked for many years in several European countries.
Daniella Lilliu Atance has a degree in Political Science, with a clear focus on security issues, by the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, where she has worked as a teaching assistant and a junior researcher.
This scholarship programme aims to recognize talent, promote excellence and convert Catalonia into a reference for quality graduate education. 53 top students were awarded scholarships for 51 different masters’ programmes which are included in the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera’s scholarship programme.
The merit-based scholarships cover the full tuition fees. Applicants must have Spanish nationality and demonstrate an excellent academic record.
Masters programmes eligible to be included in the scholarship programme are taught in English and must meet the requirements of the quality of their faculty, their focus on research and an international reputation.
