Biografía

Arthur Holland Michel is a writer, researcher, and a co-founder and co-director of the Center for the Study of the Drone, an institute at Bard College in New York. He is the author of Eyes in the Sky: The Secret Rise of Gorgon Stare and How It Will Watch Us All (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). His work has appeared in Wired Magazine, Vice, Al Jazeera America, Fast Company, Bookforum, U.S. News, The Verge, Daily NewsOxford Research Encyclopedia of Criminology (Oxford University Press), Drone: Unmanned (dpr-Barcelona)and One Nation Under Drones (U.S. Naval Institute Press), among others. He is a co-author of “The Drone Primer: A Compendium of the Key Issues,” “Drone Sightings and Close Encounters: An Analysis,” and “The Drone Revolution Revisited: An Assessment of Military Unmanned Systems in 2016,” and the author of “Counter Drone Systems” and “Drones, Counter-Drones, and AI in Policing: A Survey of Opportunities and Challenges.”
