Biografía

Lesley-Ann Daniels is currently an assistant professor at IBEI. Her recent research projects have been on public attitudes within Ukraine, Colombia, Spain, Northern Ireland and Aceh on aspects of war and peace. She has been Principal Investigator on projects funded by the European Commission, the Spanish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and AXA Insurance Research Fund. She has recently completed a Marie Curie research stay at the University of Oslo and has also had research stays at ETH Zurich and University of the Andes. She defended her doctoral thesis on the use of amnesty during civil wars at the Pompeu Fabra University in 2016. Prior to her doctorate, she worked for the EU Peace and Reconciliation Program in Northern Ireland. Her research interests are political violence, civil wars, post-conflict peacebuilding, transitional justice and identity rights and she has published in Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Peace Research, Comparative Politics and European Journal of Political Research, among others.
