17th Euro-Asia Summer School 2025:

Global Values and Foreign Policy: European and Asian Perspectives

25 August - 5 September 2025

The aim of the Euro-Asia Summer School, organized by the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies (Belgium), Hitotsubashi University, (Japan), Seoul National University (South Korea), and the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals in Barcelona (Spain), is to bring together students from around the world to study key aspects of global values related to politics, human rights and sustainability. This is a key opportunity for young talents to meet and interact and therefore to facilitate inter-cultural dialogues on governance and foreign policy. 

The first week of the summer school will be hosted by Hitotsubashi University in Japan, followed by the second week at IBEI in Barcelona, Spain. Over the weekend, participants will travel from Tokyo to Barcelona. This intercontinental structure offers students a unique opportunity to engage in a truly global and interdisciplinary academic experience.
