Biografia
Since the end of 2021, I am a PhD candidate at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt. In my research, I am taking a discourse-analytical approach to EU sanctions and their contestation to elucidate the long-standing puzzle of why sanctions are becoming increasingly popular despite being only moderately effective at best. I hold a Master’s degree of the University of Passau, Germany and have worked at different research institutions in the field of Regional Studies as well as Peace and Conflict Studies. My research interests include international institutions, sanctions, global order, multilateralism, and the European Union.
