Biography

Dominique is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her thesis focuses on the social effects of greenhouse gas emission reduction projects in the Global South with a special emphasis on agriculture, forestry and other land-use projects (AFOLU). Currently, she works on an impact evaluation of AFOLU projects on social conflict based on geospatial data. Her research is advised by Martijn Vlaskamp and Matthias vom Hau. Dominique holds a BA in Business and Management from Oxford Brookes University and an MA in International Relations from IBEI. 

Previously, Dominique worked for almost ten years in various corporate functions and more recently as a research and teaching assistant at IBEI. She also worked as a sustainability project manager for a local development organisation in Tanzania.
