Biography
Paloma Caravantes is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science and Administration of Complutense University of Madrid. Her research interests lie in the field of gender and politics, especially in feminist institutional responses to antigender movements, the implementation of intersectionality and gender equality approaches in public policies, and the relation of populism and feminist politics. Her current project investigates the implementation of feminist and democratizing policies at the local level, focusing on local governments’ strategies, mechanisms, and instruments to advance participatory and intersectional-inclusionary measures.
