Biography

Ruth Plato-Shinar is a Full Professor of Banking Law and Financial Regulation at the Netanya Academic College, where she also serves as the Director of the Center for Banking Law and Financial Regulation. Her current research delves into the critical area of trust in central banks, with a specific focus on Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC). She has been invited as a visiting researcher to prominent universities and research centers such as Harvard Law School, King's College London, UCL, Max Planck Institute, and Cambridge University Law Faculty among others.
