Two students of Master’s in IR awarded the Scholarship Masters of Excellence of the Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera
Queralt Boadella Prunell and Pedro Sanjurjo Hanck, both students of IBEI’s Master’s in International Relations, have been awarded the Scholarship Masters of Excellence of the Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera.
Queralt Boadella Prunell has a degree in East Asian Studies by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She was an exchange student at the Seoul National University in South Korea, where she also worked as a volunteer.
Pedro Sanjurjo Hanck is a student from Valencia who attended a double degree in Political Science and Sociology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He was an exchange student at Wesleyan University in the USA and at Science Po in Paris. He also did an internship at the UNESCO.
This scholarship programme aims to recognize talent, promote excellence and convert Catalonia into a reference for quality graduate education. 50 top students were awarded scholarships for 46 different masters’ programmes which are included in the Fundació Catalunya – La Pedrera’s scholarship programme.
The merit-based scholarships cover the full tuition fees. Applicants must have Spanish nationality and demonstrate an excellent academic record.
Masters programmes eligible to be included in the scholarship programme are taught in English and must meet the requirements of the quality of their faculty, their focus on research and an international reputation.
