Assessing the performance of the European Union in International Institutions (EU-PERFORM)
The European Union has made multilateral governance a cornerstone of its foreign policy, and implicit in this is its engagement with international institutions. While much research has been carried out on specific institutions, little of it has been aggregated into comparative surveys between different institutions or over time. This collaborative project has two goals; the first is to establish a common research methodology for the study of EU performance, and the second is conduct research in different international institutions and organisations in accordance with the methodology. The network consists of a core of three members with links to other universities and research centres that will also be involved with the project.
